TinySaur ("the app", "we") helps you free up storage by shrinking videos, clearing screenshots and converting Live Photos. This policy explains what the app does with your information. Contact: sheppardcode@gmail.com.
What stays on your device
Your photos and videos are processed only on your iPhone. TinySaur never uploads them to us or to anyone else. There is no account system, and the app contains no advertising.
The app asks for access to your Photos library. We use it only to find, compress, save and, when you confirm, delete items. The app also keeps small settings on your device, such as your preferences and how many free actions you have used.
What is collected
TinySaur offers an optional subscription called TinySaur Pro. To provide and verify it we use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com), a subscription service. RevenueCat receives:
- an anonymous app user ID generated for you;
- purchase and subscription information, such as products, purchase dates and the App Store receipt;
- basic device and app information, such as device model, OS version, app version and IP address.
We use this data only to deliver and verify your subscription and to prevent fraud. It is not used to track you and is not sold or shared for advertising. Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Usage statistics
To learn which features people use and where the app can improve, TinySaur sends anonymous usage statistics to TelemetryDeck (telemetrydeck.com), a privacy-focused analytics service. Each report is a short event, such as "app opened", "paywall shown", "purchase completed", or "an item was compressed" with a rough size range. Reports include basic device and app information (device model, OS version, app version, language) and a random identifier that is hashed so it cannot be used to identify you. They never include your photos, videos, file names or anything from your library, and are not linked to you or used for advertising. See TelemetryDeck's privacy policy.
Tracking
TinySaur does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Retention and your choices
Subscription records are kept as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. To ask about or request deletion of your data, email sheppardcode@gmail.com. You can revoke Photos access at any time in iOS Settings, then TinySaur.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data. Contact us to use them.
Children
TinySaur is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the update here and change the date above.
